Week Three: TEST WEEK!

Ok, so I have not really had time with school and work to write a real blog, but everything is going well. This week I have a bit more free time only because it is EXAM WEEK! All teachers know exams are wonderful, because you do not have to lecture. This makes me happy. It is a nice break. It was also nice that my upper level class did GREAT on their test. It might have been a little TOO great, but I am ok with that. :) My lower level class averaged a C, which from what I hear is not too bad. Hopefully now that we are past the Biological chapter things will be a bit better. Despite the fact that it is MY favorite, students do not generally do well on it. On the next exam we will have Health Psychology, and States of Consciousness. Those are a bit more interesting to them. My other class (Cognition) will be going over Attention (YAY!) and Encoding/Retrieval in LTM.

Cleo is doing pretty well, aside from the fact that when she is not too happy with me, which is about twice a week, she pees against a wall or in the corner - usually hitting the drywall and paint. She has amazing aim, and a very large bladder. I changed out both of her litter pans today and switched to scoopable litter (maybe she will like that better). Cross your fingers that this will work. As a backup plan, I have ordered a small carpet shampooer and a very large bottle of shampoo.

I talked to Justin earlier this week and he is doing good aside from the sandstorms and frequent Internet outages. His leave is still scheduled for the same time so there have not been any changes there. He has basically been going to work and coming back to his tent and sleeping. Oh, he did say that it rained the other day...which is something uncommon.
